The Gingerbread Man Game

Prince Charming made up a fun game to play with the boys. Watch the video to see how it works…

The boys LOVE it and Big Brother frequently asks me to reenact it while Daddy is at work.

It’s a great extension of the following books and can definitely get those winter wiggles out.

This book is the traditional tale of the Gingerbread Man and is easy to read and fun to listen to!

“I’ll run and I’ll run with leap and a twirl, you can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread girl.” This adorable book is the perfect companion to the Gingerbread Man. It’s a cute spin on the classic tale…with a clever gingerbread gal and a happier ending! It does have the words “dumber” and “airhead”, so you might want to edit those out when reading it aloud. Overall, a great read!

This is, by far, my favorite rendition! Jan Brett’s Gingerbread Baby is fun and absolutely brilliant!

  1. Adorable! We’re doing Jolanthe’s new preschool packet on the Gingerbread Baby, so this will be the perfect game to go with it. Thanks for the idea!

  2. That is so much fun. I could just feel your little one’s giggles building.
I may try to do with our group of families tomorrow.
    Thanks for sharing.

  3. We’ve been reading different versions of the book for the past few weeks and just played the game (many times). My 2 and 4 year old are LOVING it! Thanks!
