“You are the ‘Write’ Kind of Friend” Shuttle Pen Valentines
Here’s what you’ll need:  shuttle pens, cardstock paper, and washi tape.
(We found our shuttle pens on Amazon for about 65 cents a piece. And if you have Amazon Prime, you can still get them just in time for Valentines Day!)
Download our ‘You Are the “Write” Kind of Friend Shuttle Pen Valentines’ here.
Download our printable, print them on cardstock, and cut them out. Use washi tape to secure the shuttle pen to the yardstick.

Thanks so much, Kerrin!
Very creative idea, Jenae. :-)
Is there ANY way to give us the download in a Word document? I’m having serious trouble with the PDF download not printing correctly and I can’t manipulate it because it’s not in a format I can edit.
this is such a cute idea – did you have any issues with the pens? i purchased 3 packs and NOT one of them works. they all stay stuck :( i’m glad i ordered early so i can try to find another alternative…
Oh no! I am so sorry! I have ordered these pens several at least 3 different times and have never had trouble with them. Have you tried pushing down the button in the very center of the top of the pen? That “unlocks” all of the ink. If that still doesn’t work, definitely contact the seller and at least get a discount! So sorry you are having this problem!
ha! that worked! thanks for the advice. what age do you think these valentines are best suited for? i’m afraid my son’s kindergarten friends will not figure out to click the button at the top to change the colors and think the pens are broken.
We gave them last year to my sons’ preschool and first grade classes. My boys use these pens all the time!
These are so cute! Thanks for the printable.
Is there a way to download the free printable without loading tons of extensions on my computer?
