Bathtub Painting

Turn your bathtub into an artist’s canvas AND practice color recognition!

Here’s what you’ll need:  shaving cream (I would suggest using the Sensitive Men’s Shaving Cream–I just used what I had gotten for free with coupons a while back and it didn’t really poof up), food coloring, a muffin tin, and a paintbrush.

1. Spray shaving cream into four different sections of the muffin tin (or however many colors you want).

2. Drop a couple drops of each color of food coloring into the tins. Mix the shaving cream and food coloring together.

3. Give your little one the paintbrush and let them get started on their very own masterpiece!

It looks like he’s about ready to put it in his mouth, but rest assured that he is not! :)
Silly kid!

*Note:  I would NOT recommend using this on a bathtub that is tiled since the food coloring could get into the grout and stain it. Also, if your child has sensitive skin, I wouldn’t encourage them to paint themselves and be sure and drain the water before continuing on with the bath.
