Nature Walk Scavenger Hunt
It’s Day 19 of our 31 Days of Outdoor Activities for Toddlers! It has been stormy around here the last couple of days, but we managed to get outside this morning before the weather turned nasty again.
We made this simple printable nature walk scavenger hunt to take with us. I included some things to look for on a walk:  clouds, bugs, leaves, flowers, etc. I also incorporated this idea from I Heart Crafty Things and encouraged Little Sister to gather objects of different colors. We live in the suburbs and our “nature walk” was actually just a walk around the block. I had to restrain Little Sister from picking all our neighbors pretty flowers but let her pick some from our yard. :)
Print your nature walk scavenger hunt here.
After printing the nature walk scavenger hunt, I used some markers to add colors to look for as well!
Staple your printable onto a lunch sack.
Head out on your nature walk to see what you can see/find. We didn’t see a caterpillar or a butterfly but saw everything else and found something that matched almost all the colors!
Gather your treasures in the bag as you walk.
Once you are home, empty the bag and look again at all of the beautiful things you found!
